[INTERVIEW] 120616 SHINEE'S PRESS CONFERENCE IN TAIWAN

View the original article here : http://kpopn.com/2012/06/16/128718/

English Translation : soundtracklove@soompi

It has been raining heavily today in Taipei. The press arrived at the venue and waited for a while before rushing to seek shelter beneath a tent. Furthermore, the organiser gave an impromptu instruction to direct all the media reporters to the 6th floor for the interview session. The fans were told of this last minute cancellation by the organiser through the PA system - Hence they were unable to meet SHINee (S/N : for the press conference).

Due to the bad weather in Taiwan today, SHINee appeared 50 minutes late. Press conference has also been pushed back to commence at 5:37pm in the afternoon. Due to unclear instructions, the entire scene was in a chaos. The press waited more than half an hour, many of them carrying really heavy camera equipments to the venue, which resulted many of them having really bad mood. The entire press conference lasted less than 20minutes and was hastily concluded within such a short time frame. Let's take a look at today's press conference interview :

SHINee started the event by holding onto their endorsed products to allow the media to take snapshots of them. After the photo-taking session, it was time for them to create celebritiy hand-print moulds. While they were trying to cast their moulds, Jonghyun happily used his might to press into the mould, so that his hand could be clearly imprinted on the board. After that, SHINee signed their names on the signature boards, holding it up with their hand-print moulds to have their photos taken. After the hand-print ceremony has ended, the actual press conference interview session began.

Before the QnA session began, SHINee greeted all the press and media outlets in Chinese "Hello Everyone, We are SHINee". SHINee's Chinese is pretty accurate!

Q : What is SHINee's usual routine to avoid sun and have beautiful white skin?

Jonghyun : Basically, drinking lots of water is the most important. However Etude House's new product Sun BB is really helpful too.

Q : What about other members? Do you all carry out the same method?

Jonghyun : All the members really like using Etude House products - They love to use it as reguarly like how we wash our face everyday with water!

Q : Everyone's figure is not bad, and (your figure) must have been maintained by exercise. What is everyone's favourite exercise?

Minho : We all love to exercise, and will visit the gym too.

Q : So what kind of exercises do you all do at the gym?

M : Around one hour. (Due to translation mistakes, the question has not been answered accurately)

Q : Has there been any interesting events that happened during the latest Olympic-themed campaign? Who is the "NG King"? (S/N : The member who makes the most mistakes)

O : I remember that when we were filming for this particular advertisement, the most vivid memory would be that the flags did not fly according to the direction we wanted - it was really hard to control.

Q : So who was the "NG King" (S/N : The member who makes the most mistakes)

O : (That would be) Me....

Q : So what "NG"/mistake was that?

O : Since the lines were very long, so I had trouble memorising them.

The last question directed to SHINee was to let them share their most favourite product that they would like to recommend. Jonghyun loves Sun BB the most, while Minho and Taemin both love the Baking Powder series of product.

Even though the questions (asked) during the press conference were really advertisement-like, which was probably according to the way how the organiser has planned it, SHINee still conscientiously answered each and every question. After the questions have all been asked, SHINee waved and greeted and was led down the stage. No reporters managed to take a photo of their bow before they left. The event has been hastily concluded which left many press and media dumbfounded and stunned. There were even some cameraman who started shouting (out of unhappiness) - verbally voicing out their unhappiness while trying to pack up their equipments. Afterwards, the media and press were hurriedly chased out of the venue by the staff members as SHINee has to start their rehearsel soon...

Within the short 2 hours, we hope SHINee's rehearsel has went on smoothly and will bring an interesting performance for the fans at night!

[SM Drama] To Beautiful You Cast & Staff (Hana Kimi drama korean vers)

OK, I was a bit worried when I heard more idols were cast (who will act?), and then brightened up and got excited more when the final casting news came out with quite impressive actors lined up as supporting characters.

Minho as Kang Taejoon, a high jump gold medalist, who is discouraged after being injured

Sulli as Goo Jaehee who disguises herself as a male and transfers to Taejoon’s school to help him recover for a comeback

And people wondered who would play the second male lead and hoped an actor, not an idol, would be cast. Yesterday, Lee Hyunwoo came to my mind, and I thought to myself if he could be cast, it would be perfect. Yes, he was cast!!! Now I can believe SM is serious about making this drama not only to sell it to overseas idol fans, but also to lure muggles. Lee Hyunwoo is a rising star who is making a successful transition from a child star to an attractive and good adult actor. He was in the Master of Study and the Equator Man.

Lee Hyunwoo as Cha Eungyeol, soccer middle fielder, who is conceited and short-tempered

And a new face who is a rising musical actor (also appeared in some drama and movies) was cast as a sub-main. Kang Haneul as Joo Jicheol, a high jump player in the national team and Taejoon’s rival.

Seo Joonyoung (known for his impressive acting in Tree with Deep Roots) as Ha Seungli, dorm supervisor and fencing team chief — a macho type with strong leadership

Ki Taeyoung as Jang Minwoo, a mysterious eccentric school nurse who helps Jaehee

Kang Gyeongjoon as a comic and clumsy track-and-field team coach

Lee Young-eun, a teacher of Korean in a triangle relationship with the school nurse and the coach

Lee Hanee, school president with gentle charisma

Lee Hanwee, Taejoon’s father

Lee Ahyun, the dorm supervisor’s mom who knows Jaehee’s secret and helps her

Ahn Hyegyeong, a sports magazine reporter

Ko Soyoung, head director like Bae Yongjoon in Dream High; her casting made a headline because this is her first TV appearance since her marriage. She’s a top model and star who is now married to Jang Dong-gun, a top star in Korea.

Also, Kim Jiwon (CF model, High Kick 3) as a student in a neighbor school who likes Taejoon, Gwanghee of ZE:A as another dorm supervisor and theater team chief (?) who is adored by everyone as the owner of absolute beauty.  El of Infinite may also be cast as one of Taejoon’s friends.

*The cast and character information haven’t been finalized yet, so there might be changes.

Total 16 episodes to be broadcast in August

Staff Info:

Directed by Jeon Kisang (Witch Yoo Hee, Delightful Girl Choon Hyang, My Girl, Boys over Flowers)

Written by Lee Youngcheol (High Kick 1, 2, 3, Kimchi Cheese Smile)

Music by Park Geuncheol (Goong, Queen of Games, City Hunter, Lovers in Paris)

Art by Noh Sangsoon (You Are Beautiful, My Girlfriend is Goo Mi Ho, Shining Inheritance)

Produced by Kim Hoon (White Tower-assistant producer-, Love in Harvard, etc)

Action by Jung Jingeun

*Will this drama be Dream High 1 or Dream High 2? Boys over Flowers was very popular but left a bad impression because of the changes made to the story by the script writer. I’m not sure about the writer whose main work has been for sitcoms. Competition with the rival dramas that start about the same time in August is expected to be very tough: Lee Joonki, a popular top star, is coming back in a historical fiction drama after finishing his military service; the other drama with Song Joongki and Moon Chaewon. Tough! but fighting~

I AM movie - SHINee part

SHINee's parts are quite funny as well, the recording background is their dorm, when key is speaking at the dining table, taemin and minho is playing video game (football) at the sofa behind him

then minho and taemin disturbed when key was speaking. When key was about to speak, suddenly taemin shouted loudly "Wah!" (because he scored in the football game), and interrupted key. Key shouted loudly at taemin "ya! I am telling my story, why do you interrupt me?"

in the beginning part, there are many SHINee's training parts,

there's a part where Jjong is practicing songs, and the teacher told him to have confidence

then there's taemin's interview part and minho's rapping part

In the movie, each of them will watch their pre-debut clips before answering the questions

they laughed eatching their own clips

there's a part where they were in their dorm

onew taking corn flakes to eat,

when onew opened the refrigerator, the refrigerator was full of food

there's taemin's banana milks too

then all of them sat in the living room and watched taemin and minho playing the football video game

but they missed the ball at the end.

when watching them playing, jjong sat on the massaging chair while making some weird noise (the audiences laughed)

replay and lucifer performances were included in the movie as well;

there's a part where onew appeared during Kangta performance

he appeared to pass/deliver the mic...

Onew almost fell down that time on the stage

During SMTown in USA, when kangta and sulli were singing their duet, onew appeared to pass the mic.. Onew stumbled and almost fell down (dunno whether he did it on purpose or not), then he quickly took out the mic from his pocket and passed it to sulli..

during that time, minho was standby-ing behind the stage, when he saw onew stumbled, he closed his mouth and laughed..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is3EWMA6qYo&feature=youtu.be SMtown NY Kangta ft Sulli

cr: babi052

during the begining of the movie, SM artists talked about their original name and stage name together with the meaning.. when it was jjong's turn, he said I am Jonghyun, my name is Kim Jonghyun?! no difference, and the audiences laughed

There was taemin's audition part, after wacthing his own video clip, taemin said "because I wanted to be obvious/ the special one, that's why I wore a lot of accessories and danced

There's a part where Minho was practicing rapping..the teacher wanted him to train with something like tongue twister.

there's a part where SHINee introduced themselve to Suju before debut

Jjong said before SHINee debuted, SM planned to have 4 members only for SHINee~

Then SHINee's Replay in SMT USA was played, the audio was so good and the writer say she felt like she was watching it live at USA

then there's jjong's practicing part, the writer was touched and said jjong sang too well, she also laughed when watching jjong with short hair that time

when Jong young https://p.twimg.com/AtOVN4TCQAAKmwa.jpg

during the rehearsal of SM Town, key asked the staffs whether he really need to hang by wire and move here and there in the air during Lucifer.. then the noona who was holding the camera asked key what's his thought/feeling when hanging in the air. Key said it was very painful, the cause the tie was very tight. Onew said hanging in the air was very cool.. then the scene appear where SHINee were hanging, and onew holding the wire (the writer said onew held the wire because he was painful)

There's a scene where onew took out a box of milk from the refrigerator and poured in a bowl with corn flakes. He opened the refrigerator and said proudly "We arranged the food neatly right? but they will all eaten up by the members after a few days" the refrigerator was full of foods.. meanwhile key was online-ing using his laptop in the living room

[NEWS] Choi Minho and Sulli confirmed as lead roles for ‘Hana Kimi’

Last year, SM Entertainment announced that they would be producing a Korean drama adaptation, ‘To the Beautiful You’, off the insanely popular Japanese comic, ‘Hana Kimi‘.

Although several names have been on and off the potential cast list, rumors started circulating last month that SHINee‘s Minho and f(x)‘s Sulli may be selected for the lead roles. It seems those rumors have finally been confirmed, for a source within the drama staff revealed that Minho and Sulli have indeed been cast as the leading roles for the drama.

PD Jun Ki Sang of ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ will be directing the drama, and it’s also been revealed that the drama has been picked up by SBS to begin airing in the second half of this year as well.

SBS had originally aimed to begin airing it as the follow-up to ‘Ghost’ but delayed it to the second half of the year instead, putting ‘Faith’ in its place.
